Benefits:

  1. Branding: videos make your company or e-shop look professional and transparent. This is two of the main qualities a business needs to gain clients.

  2. Content Marketing: videos will also make your articles more attractive.

  3. Virality: some videos on Facebook have a 10 times higher organic reach. Just go to your account for a second and have a look at how many videos there are. Several, right? It’s the same for instagram and the others social networks.

  4. SEO: you’ve read it before in my post about hospitality video, visits coming from the search engine can rise by up to 157%. Why? Basically, because Google loves videos and it reduces the bounce rate.

  5. Emotional connection: if you create an emotional link with clients your brand will be more appreciated and foster more trust.

  6. Conversion rate: a landing page can convert up to 80% more when it includes a video. There is nothing else to say, is there?

  7. CTR in email marketing: according to Hubspot, email conversion can rise up to 30% when including a video.

  8. Sales: all of the points mentioned before lead to an increase in sales by themselves. But, as you saw before, they are also key to giving clients that final push to make a purchase.

Without context, your video isn’t going to make any sense. You could produce tons of product videos for your product page that just show the item in a 360 degree spin. But, what’s the point in spending the money to produce such a video that you can’t really use anywhere else? Aim to make a video topping out at 30 seconds — especially for the sake of sharing on social media. Yes, it’s hard. The point of a "explainer video" is to increase relate-ability between your brand and your customer. Text and images don’t get this across as well.
